Why is Biobased ValueCircle an interesting project for you?

First, working on a project that combines academia and industry, that connects amazing successful researchers from all around the world, sharing their knowledge is an amazing experience for me. Secondly, in this project I have the opportunity to use molecular biology and plant biotechnology to generate proteins that will end up in the manufacturing of improved and ecological biomedical products. Moreover, designing and working on methods that will add value to my research field. Finally, due to this multidisciplinary project, I gets to learn more about sustainability, common language, material sciences and many other interesting topics.

In my teenage years, I was a member of an oriental acapella choir called “Fayhaa Choir’’. We had many national and international concerts, travelled to several countries to perform in international music festivals and participated in some Tv shows. As a soprano in an acapella choir, you learn how to control your voice to respect others and create harmony. You also learn that; without teamwork, practice and patience there is no success. This significantly shaped my personality.

How did you become a researcher / scientist?

Becoming a scientific researcher was my plan since high school simply because I love biology and find it extremely interesting. I hope that by doing research I can contribute to science to create a better future.
